Although fat loss is part of the goals of many clients, dietary advice is a bigger part of the fat loss puzzle than exercise. Exercise is great for toning muscles and burning calories, but exercising without addressing the diet is not helpful. Many times simple changes like increasing calcium, avoiding certain fats, and adding some foodstuff to the diet can bring real change.

Melanie kept a strict diet, but not hypocaloric (fewer than the body needs to maintain). No alcohol, sweets, snacks and or junk food, plenty of fruit, sun, and healthy food.
